This home is a quiet place. What was once a well cared for landscape, has slowly fallen into a state of decay. Age and time has crept up on its owner. These spaces absent of the human condition are evident in their leavings. What I capture here is visual testimony. The preservation of a timeless interior coupled with the the physical effects of a once flourishing exterior, now mouldering, from neglect. What I explore in this work is an evidence of disintegration of habitat, the effects of time, and an echo of presence, however faint.
In Passing recounts the last days my father spent on this earth, before succumbing to cancer. The approaching decline in his health, death, the stillness he left behind, and an overwhelming absence of presence.

#OccupyWallStreet came about through my experiences in New York City and my observations of the active efforts of those who wished to see divergence from the status quo. The #OccupyWallStreet movement was an aggregate effort to push forward the progressive consciousness of the “99%” and affect change. This is a part and parcel of their collective story.
